66-year old former Indian cricketer Arun Lal to get married again with long time partner Bulbul Saha

The former Indian opener Arun Lal, who has been the head coach of Bengal Ranji trophy team for the last few seasons, is going to get married again at 66 years of age. His would-be spouse Bulbul Saha is 28 years younger than him and is currently 38 years of age.

Arun Lal played a fair bit of cricket for India, but it was actually as a television commentator that he made a name for himself. He once used to be a very popular Hindi commentator on TV before he took up the coaching job with Bengal.

When Sourav Ganguly took over as the chairman of Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), he approached Arun Lal for the head coach job, an offer which Arun accepted and Bengal actually went from strength to strength in red ball cricket under the coaching of Arun.

Bengal qualified for the final of the Ranji Trophy, when the last time the tournament took place pre-pandemic in 2019-20. It was after a gap of more than a decade that Bengal achieved such a success in the premier division red ball cricket in India.

Arun Lal will continue to take care of his first wife even after his second marriage

As far as Arun’s new relationship is concerned, it is believed that Arun has been in a relationship with Bulbul for a long time and he is getting re-married after divorcing his first wife with mutual consent. His wife is reportedly ill and Arun will continue to take care of her and is only re-marrying with his first wife’s approval.

Arun Lal himself has struggled with his health a lot in the recent times. He had to go through a rough time because of throat cancer, but he came out of it successfully and is currently plying his trade as a Bengal coach.

The officials of Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) are expected to attend Arun’s second wedding which is likely to take place soon.
