One of the main reasons for KKR’s success in IPL 2024 was its strong core and reliable depth. Mega Auctions, if it would happen, would disturb this. However, for teams such as CSK, some of the KKR players could be of interest to improve their squad. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of four KKR players whom CSK could target in IPL 2025 Auctions.

1) Phil Salt
Irrespective to MS Dhoni’s plans, CSK would still need another wicket-keeper to prepare the squad for the future. Although Devon Conway is the preferred opener, if someone like Phil Salt is available, CSK could go for him. This is mainly because of his dual value.
2) Nitish Rana
Nitish Rana is one of the KKR players whom CSK could target in IPL 2025 Auctions. No.3 has been a tough slot to crack for CSK recently. Ruturaj Gaikwad also had to play here in a few games. Nitish Rana is a top choice for CSK in this regard. Since he also offers right-arm off-spin, he would be an upgrade over Moeen Ali.
3) Suyash Sharma
Suyash Sharma could not get a lot of games in IPL 2024. He also failed to do well in the matches he played. Nevertheless, he has the talent and age to do well further. CSK needs a young leg-spinner and Suyash is someone who can be a part of the spin attack for the future.
4) Vaibhav Arora
Vaibhav Arora is also one of the KKR players whom CSK could target in IPL 2025 Auctions. Deepak Chahar has not been able to do well for CSK in the last few seasons. Now, it is time to release him and invest in someone different. Vaibhav can be this choice because of his ability to bowl well in the powerplay.
