CSK has lost its way in IPL 2025. However, there is still time to turn it around. Quite a few matches are now available for the five-time champions to climb up the ladder. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three ways CSK can turn around their campaign in IPL 2025.
1) Open the batting with Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway
It is as simple as that. This combination won them the trophy not long ago. Hence, it is not clear why the franchise is not doing that again.
Also, Rachin Ravindra’s form has dropped. Therefore, it could be a good time to get back to the famous opening combination on the side.
2) Play Anshul Kamboj in the CSK XI for IPL 2025
He is a talented cricketer and can make an impact with the new ball and also in the middle overs. His height can be of great advantage to the side.
Hence, CSK must somehow try to get him in the playing XI. It could involve a few bold decisions if CSK has to get Anshul in the playing XI.
3) Use a pinch-hitter
CSK has not been able to play shots consistently in the middle overs. Maybe, the batters are down on confidence and are afraid of losing wickets.
Hence, it is a possible chance to install a pinch-hitter on the side. Someone like R Ashwin could be used in this role if needed.
