Earlier on Tuesday, Jasprit Bumrah posted a cryptic Instagram story. Many connected this with the arrival of Hardik Pandya to Mumbai Indians, which would further delay or even deny Jasprit Bumrah’s captaincy ambitions. If he does make himself available in the trade window, almost every team would be interested in him. Here, we take a look at the list of three teams that could target Jasprit Bumrah if he becomes available in the IPL 2024 Trade Window.

1) Royal Challengers Bangalore

RCB is in desperate need of a good bowling attack. Some Indian pacers are required for the setup. Although Bumrah is expensive, RCB might be willing to spend the money because Bumrah is a once-in-a-lifetime cricketer.

Bumrah would almost instantly solve all the bowling issues at RCB. The team’s bowling attack would actually become one of the strongest in the competition.

2) Kolkata Knight Riders

KKR is one of the teams that could target Jasprit Bumrah if he becomes available in the IPL 2024 Trade Window. KKR needs a pacer to lead the bowling attack. Vaibhav Arora and Harshit Rana are the only Indian pacers available in the team now.

The team has a lot of funds and money would not be an issue. The batting unit is already sorted with some special talents. Now, if they can get their hands on Bumrah, the team will become potent. However, it is not sure if Bumrah could get to captain the side.

3) Gujarat Titans

GT is now in need of a new face after the departure of Hardik Pandya. Shubman Gill is available but he is too young and inexperienced. A homegrown name like Bumrah will be the real deal for GT.

Yes, captaincy opportunity may not come but Bumrah would enjoy bowling at Ahmedabad alongside Shami. GT might also need another Indian pacer to improve the pace attack. They do have the money to make the deal, if necessary.
