India has a solid Test spin attack that includes R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel. While Ashwin and Jaddu are close to the end of their careers, Axar and Kuldeep are all-format players. Hence, there is a requirement to find the next bunch of spinners for the red-ball format. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three spinners who could make their Test debut under Gautam Gambhir as Head Coach.

1) R Sai Kishore

R Sai Kishore picked 53 wickets in the recent Ranji season. He also led his team to the finals. Considering his age, as well, he is the perfect profile India must consider for Tests.

Sai has shown enough variations to make a mark with the red-ball. If India is looking at grooming a successor for Ravindra Jadeja, Sai must be the man. Meanwhile, the Tamil Nadu spinner will need to work on his batting skills, which are decent at the moment.

2) Tanush Kotian

Tanush Kotian is one of the spinners who could make their Test debut under Gautam Gambhir as Head Coach. India does not have a lot of talented right-arm off-spinners who are ready for the Indian Team. Hence, someone like Tanush is important for the future of the side.

For the last few years, he has been doing well for Mumbai. He even got to play in IPL 2024. Along with the ball, he can also do a job with the bat. Hence, he is on this list.

3) Shams Mulani

The Mumbai left-arm spinner has picked up loads of wickets at the domestic level. Like Tanush, even Shams Mulani played in IPL 2024. However, he was dropped after the first few matches.

Nevertheless, with the red-ball, he has the desired experience to be available for the Indian Team. He can also do a good job with the bat.
