Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore have already been involved in an exchange in the trade window. Cameron Green made the move to RCB recently. The Bengaluru-based outfit could further be interested in some of the names that Mumbai Indians have released. Here, we take a look at three released Mumbai Indians players whom RCB might target in IPL 2024 Auctions.

1) Ramandeep Singh

Raw power is something that is missing in the batting department of RCB. Now, Cameron Green has solved the issue to an extent. However, Indian cricketers are needed with this attribute, as well. In this regard, Ramandeep can be a good choice.

After Hardik Pandya’s arrival, it was expected that Ramandeep would be released. Along with his batting potential, Ramandeep can also bowl decent medium pace. He is a utility cricketer and RCB could count on this aspect, as well.

2) Hrithik Shokeen

Hrithik Shokeen is one of the released Mumbai Indians players whom RCB might target in IPL 2024 Auctions. RCB needs good Indian cricketers and hence, they can invest in Hrithik.

The spin department is the weakest in RCB. Hrithik is a good right-arm off-spinner. He is also decent with the bat. Therefore, RCB can target the youngster, who also holds potential for the future.

3) Jhye Richardson

It will be tough for RCB to buy back Josh Hazlewood at a lower price. Quite a few franchises would be interested in his signature. In this regard, RCB can plan for a similar bowler, although of lesser quality, at a cheaper price.

If not for his recent injury issues, Jhye would have been a consistent part of the Australian side. Nevertheless, he has the age to do what he is capable of. A good campaign in the IPL could actually help him. If he does well, he could become a part of the plans again.
