You could tell that Gujarat Titans had a very good outing at the recent auctions. They have a balanced squad that will challenge for the title. Interestingly, they hired some of the RCB cricketers of the IPL 2024 season, as well. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three RCB players Gujarat Titans signed in IPL 2025 Mega Auctions.
1) Mohammed Siraj
After not deciding to retain Mohammed Shami, it was clear that GT was going for a fresh attack. They needed an Indian leader and hence, they splurged the cash for Siraj.
Siraj will come in as the new-ball bowler for GT with also some responsibilities in the death overs. The home venue will also suit Siraj and hence, it is an impressive signing for the IPL 2022 Champions.
2) Mahipal Lomror
Mahipal Lomror is one of the RCB players Gujarat Titans signed in IPL 2025 Mega Auctions. The Rajasthan all-rounder has been in fine touch at the domestic level and for RCB, he had a pretty decent run. Hence, he went for a good bid at the auctions. RCB surprisingly did not want to get him back.
For GT, though, he will be a good addition in the middle order. He plays spin well and since GT does not have a fixed spot for the No.4 role, Lomror will have chances to perform well and go up to the next level in his career.
3) Anuj Rawat
Many felt that Anuj Rawat may not find a bid at the auctions. However, GT needed some backup Indian wicket-keepers and chose to not spend much money for this slot.
Therefore, they got Anuj Rawat at his base price. It was not working out for him at RCB and he will look to start his IPL career on a fresh note in Ahmedabad.
