As per reports, the Adani Group is one of the front-runners to buy Gujarat Titans. The current owner CVC Capital is looking to sell all the stakes. If that happens, the Adani Group will target some popular names, especially from Gujarat. Here, we take a look at the list of three popular Gujarat cricketers the Adani Group might target if they buy Gujarat Titans.
1) Ravindra Jadeja
Ravindra Jadeja is one of the most popular cricketers from Gujarat. At CSK, he is not the captain and after MS Dhoni retires, it is not clear what will happen to Jadeja.
In this regard, Jaddu would be a perfect fit at Gujarat Titans. The conditions there would suit his batting and as a bowler, he can add value while bowling alongside Rashid Khan. GT also has R Sai Kishore whom they can use in a trade deal if needed.
2) Axar Patel
Axar Patel is one of the popular Gujarat cricketers the Adani Group might target if they buy Gujarat Titans. He is already one of the most established players in the IPL. Last season, he also made his captaincy debut.
