For a franchise to leave a player in the trade window, the cricketer must not play a big role in the side. Also, it must benefit the side financially. Mumbai Indians are masters when it comes to using the trade window. They have got top names this way in the past. They will now look to do it again in the IPL 2024 Trade Window. 1) Kartik Tyagi – Sunrisers Hyderabad
Kartik Tyagi is short of game-time at Sunrisers Hyderabad. With Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan, Umran Malik and Marco Jansen on the side, the player might face the same fate again in IPL 2024.
On the other hand, MI is desperate for a domestic pacer who has the potential to bowl well in all phases of the innings. Basically, the pacer should be in the mould of Jasprit Bumrah. In this regard, it would be a major coup if they could get Kartik on the team.
2) Adam Zampa – Rajasthan Royals
Adam Zampa is one of the players whom Mumbai Indians could target in the IPL 2024 trade window. With Yuzvendra Chahal in the side, Zampa will not get a lot of games at RR.
Mumbai needs a player to lead the spin department. At least for the games that happen on turning tracks, MI needs a solid candidate, which they do not have currently. Hence, they can push hard for Zampa, who has been in excellent form in recent months.
3) Shivam Mavi – Gujarat Titans
Mavi did not play a single game in IPL 2023. This was despite him making his India debut just a few weeks before IPL 2023.
MI needs as many good domestic pacers as possible. Mavi is good with the new ball and also adds depth to the batting unit. Hence, MI should look to get him from GT.
