1) Dhruv Jurel
Dhruv Jurel got a lot of chances to prove his potential. However, he could not grab a lot of these chances. That said, he is a young cricketer and he is still developing. Therefore, RR will want to retain him and give him a chance this cycle. If he performs well, he will be a star for the future.
2) Shimron Hetmyer is one of the players RR might retain despite poor form in IPL 2025
It has been a bad season in the last few editions for Shimron in the IPL. For this reason alone, RR could retain him. Also, it could be hard to get him back if they release him. He falls in a rare category of players and hence, the franchise could keep him.
3) Akash Madhwal
The former Mumbai Indians cricketer has not been in good form in IPL 2025. He got games only in the last few weeks. However, his form has been poor. That said, considering his potential and the price at which RR hired him, the management might retain him.
