Chennai Super Kings are the second-most successful IPL team with four titles. Under the captaincy of MS Dhoni, CSK became the thrusting force in the cash-rich India’s premier T20 competition.

CSK reached the finals nine times, which is the most by any team whereas they have reached the playoffs 11 times, the most by any team in the history of the Indian Premier League.

This goes to show that CSK are the most consistent team in the IPL. In the last edition, they failed to make it to the playoffs by finishing ninth. However, they have a great chance to make a bid for the fifth IPL title.

CSK have played four games so far in the IPL 2023 season wherein they have won two games and lost the other two games in the competition. Currently, they are now sitting at the sixth position in the points table.

It remains to be seen which team will go on to better in the clutch moments and churn out a win. Case in point, Chennai Super Kings who are sixth on the table will need to beat RCB by around 60 runs in order to climb to the second spot in the league stage points table.

CSK and RCB have locked horns with each other on 31 occasions in the history of the IPL. CSK have dominated the South Indian Derby so much that they have won 20 games whereas RCB won 10 games and the other game ended in the form of a no-result.
