Chennai Super Kings are likely to end with the wooden spoon in IPL 2025. However, the franchise must not overreact. While they should plan for the future, they must not punish some of the out-of-form cricketers. Here, we take a look at the list of three players CSK might retain despite poor form in IPL 2025.

1) Rachin Ravindra

Rachin Ravindra was poor in IPL 2025. That said, he is a star for the future, and CSK must stay invested in him. He will only develop further and if he can improve his bowling, the franchise will take more benefit from the Kiwi cricketer.

2) Shivam Dube is one of the players CSK might retain despite poor form in IPL 2025

It is a no-brainer really. Ravindra Jadeja is doing well at No.4. Hence, the franchise could have some ideas. However, Shivam Dube is an Indian player, and they must back him. They must use him better,r and giving him more responsibility should help the side.

3) Jamie Overton

Jamie Overton was not brilliant in IPL 2025. However, you can also tell that he was not used in the right way. As a backup and a utility player, Overton can be of great use for the franchise. Also, he came near his base price and hence, it should not affect CSK much.
