One of the legends of the game, it will be interesting to see if any team picks him. In the T20 format, Anderson is not a noted cricketer and has not played recently, as well. Hence, it will be surprising if any team actually picks him.

2) Faf du Plessis

Faf du Plessis is a part of this list of the oldest players shortlisted in the final list for IPL 2025 Mega Auctions. When it comes to cricketers around their forties, it is Faf du Plessis who stands out as the best performer. Even now, his fitness is top and he could still lead a side next season.

In various other T20 leagues, his form both as a batter and a captain is good. It would not be a surprise if he actually gets a contract for the next campaign, as well.

3) Mohammad Nabi

A proper T20 all-rounder, Nabi is in the final few years of his career. Last season, he played for Mumbai Indians and actually had a decent campaign.

A veteran in this format, surely, teams will be aware of his experience and what he brings to the table. A good off-spinner, Nabi can also play a few big shots, which can add that cutting edge to the side.
