1) Josh Hazlewood
Josh was a costly miss for MI. He was a top player for RCB in IPL 2025 and helped them win the trophy. Had Josh been at MI, the bowling attack would have been sensational. He would have been a perfect foil for the likes of Bumrah and Boult.
2) Mumbai Indians bid for Jofra Archer in IPL 2025 Auctions
Just like with Josh, Jofra was also a costly miss for MI. He is someone who was in brilliant touch in IPL 2025. He seemed to have regained his confidence and was breathing fire for RR. Bumrah and Archer bowling in tandem would have solved a lot of issues for MI.
3) Vipraj Nigam
MI struggled with their leg-spin options in IPL 2025. This is one area MI will look to do well in the coming season. Vipraj was a find for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2025. He bowled well and also added value with his bat. MI lost out on him in the final bid at the auctions.
