3 former RCB players who are reportedly being considered for a Head Coach role in IPL 2025

Many former RCB players have found success as a coach. The likes of Anil Kumble, Daniel Vettori and Mark Boucher all became a coach. All these players formerly played for RCB. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three former RCB players who are reportedly being considered for a Head Coach role in IPL 2025.

1) Rahul Dravid

Rahul Dravid finished his stint with Team India on a high. With a T20 World Cup under his belt, there are a few franchises wanting to appoint him as the Head Coach.

While it looks like Rajasthan Royals lead the race, there are reports that Mumbai Indians are also trying their best. This will be an interesting race in the next few weeks.

2) Yuvraj Singh

Yuvraj Singh is one of the former RCB players who are reportedly being considered for a Head Coach role in IPL 2025. As per reports, Yuvraj Singh is in line to replace Ashish Nehra as the Head Coach of Gujarat Titans.

In his three seasons at GT, Ashish Nehra failed in just one season. Hence, it is a surprise that the management is trying to move on from him. However, there are reports that the owners are going to change and this could also be a reason.

3) Wasim Jaffer

Not many know that Wasim Jaffer played for RCB back in IPL 2008. In fact, he is the first person in the history of the franchise to score a fifty. However, Wasim was released after IPL 2008 and he then never played an IPL game after that.

After his retirement, he has been doing various coaching roles across the country. He is currently with the Punjab Kings as a batting coach. Now, a few reports claim that he is in the race for the role of the Head Coach at Punjab Kings.
