1) Yash Dhull
Yash Dhull is a highly-rated cricketer at the domestic level. Yes, he had a forgettable domestic season but he has the skills to do well.
Hence, with some players such as David Warner and Prithvi Shaw struggling in the top-order, Yash could have got a chance. He is someone who can come good if given a run of games.
2) Praveen Dubey
Praveen Dubey is one of the Delhi Capitals cricketers who deserved to play a game in IPL 2024. He has been with Delhi Capitals for a while now. However, he is not getting to play frequently.
Praveen is a wily leg-spinner from Karnataka. He can also bat well. When Kuldeep Yadav was unavailable, Praveen should have got a chance to prove his skills. However, he could not get it.
3) Swastik Chikara
It was actually a surprise that Delhi could not afford a single game for Swastik Chikara. The youngster from Uttar Pradesh has a high ceiling when it comes to power-hitting.
The likes of Lalit Yadav and Kumar Kushagra were not at their best in IPL 2024. In this regard, Swastik could have got a game or two to showcase his skills. This experience would have also helped him in the upcoming domestic season.
