Gautam Gambhir will be the India Head Coach within just 3 to 4 years from his retirement. Hence, we could see some more Indian cricketers become coaches soon after retirement. 1) R Ashwin

It is inevitable that R Ashwin will take up a coaching role in the future. Just as a spin-bowling coach itself, he will have lots to offer.

2) Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma is one of the best captains that Team India has seen. At the IPL, he has five trophies to his name and is known to be a highly tactical man. Considering his stature, it would not be a surprise if he takes up a coaching role in the future.

3) Jaydev Unadkat

Jaydev Unadkat is one of the current Indian cricketers who could become a Head Coach in the future. At the domestic level, he has been a shrewd captain and has helped Saurashtra win a few trophies.
