1) Sameer Rizvi
Delhi Capitals has some fine youngsters in the setup. The likes of Tristan Stubbs will be retained. However, the No.4 role is still a question for them if Rishabh Pant plays at No.3.
Sameer Rizvi will be an interesting target for this position. He plays spin well and is developing his game against the pacers. Consider the superstar potential in him, DC can target the Uttar Pradesh lad in IPL 2025 Auctions.
2) Rachin Ravindra
Rachin Ravindra is one of the CSK players whom Delhi Capitals could target in IPL 2025 Auctions. The Kiwi played a few good games in IPL 2024. However, overall, it was a disappointment for him, especially after the ODI World Cup he had.
DC has batters at all positions but they would probably like one left-handed option at the top as a backup for JFM. Here is where someone like Rachin would be a very good fit for the franchise. His bowling skills further add balance to the side.
3) Deepak Chahar
Deepak Chahar may have not been in good form recently but on skill-wise, he is still a rated player. If he can work on his fitness, he can surely make a strong comeback in the IPL.
Ishant Sharma was used in many matches by DC in IPL 2024. Ishant is not a long-term option. Hence, they can eye someone like Deepak Chahar, who offers similar skillsets. Deepak’s batting abilities are good and he can be groomed as an all-rounder.
