Sikandar Raza would have been a good fit on the side. Yes, there is Washington Sundar, but Raza is more reliable with the bat as a finisher.
Raza does well under pressure, and since GT has a thin middle order, someone like the all-rounder would have been good for the side.
2) Gujarat Titans could have picked Michael Bracewell instead of Dasun Shanaka
Bracewell is someone who is in good form. He is a modern T20 cricketer who adds value in both departments of the game.
Therefore, the Kiwi would have been a better fit for the side. If Sherfane Rutherford is unavailable, someone like Bracewell could have been a good backup.
3) Jimmy Neesham
The Kiwi might not be very relevant at the moment. However, he has good IPL experience and has played a lot of T20 games.
For the side that GT have, Jimmy might have been a better fit. Since he is a left-hander, he could have added variety in the lower order, as well.
