RCB must focus on building a good pace attack for IPL 2025. Andy Flower and the management will have a chance to start afresh in this aspect. While Mohammed Siraj is likely to be retained, RCB needs to find some able overseas partners for him in all the phases of the game. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three all-phase overseas pacers RCB can target for IPL 2025.
1) Jofra Archer
If he is available, Jofra Archer will be sought after by many franchises. With English management at the helm, you could also expect RCB to go for the talented cricketer.
Fitness will be a concern. However, he has been pretty good in this regard in recent times. Hence, there is confidence there. At Chinnaswamy, you might need special bowlers to tie down the batters and Jofra Archer can be one of them.
2) Kagiso Rabada
Kagiso Rabada is one of the all-phase overseas pacers RCB can target for IPL 2025. You could say that his T20 form has declined in recent times. However, he is still a frontline wicket-taker.
He can share the new ball, can hit the deck and can also nail down yorkers at the death. He has experience and is fairly young, too. Therefore, the South African cricketer will be a target for RCB in IPL 2025 Auctions.
3) Josh Hazlewood
Age, availability, and fitness could be factors. However, on his day, there are not many pacers who can deliver as well as the Aussie. He has also previously played for RCB.
Josh can run down the opposition batting attack with the new ball and can defend runs with his variations at the death. He is a complete bowler and would be a top choice for RCB, especially if they do not get the other options in the auction.
