Having left-handers in the batting line-up is key. However, having too many of them could cause a few problems. The opposition captain could use a right-arm off-spinner against the batting lineup. On that note, here we take a look at the list of two teams whose batting line-up is too left-handed for IPL 2025.
1) Lucknow Super Giants
LSG had a strong batting line-up, especially the middle order. However, the problem for them is that most of these batters are left-handers.
Rishabh Pant, Nicholas Pooran and David Miller will play a key role for LSG in IPL 2025. The good thing for LSG is that Pant and Pooran can play spinners well.
2) Kolkata Knight Riders has a good batting line-up for IPL 2025
KKR is one of the teams whose batting line-up is too left-handed for IPL 2025. Quinton de Kock is likely to open the batting with Sunil Narine for IPL 2025. It is not sure if this left-handed opening combination will be a success.
Coming down, two important players for KKR in the middle order are Venkatesh Iyer and Rinku Singh. Both are top-rated acquisitions and will have to do the bulk of hitting. Since they are both left-handers, we might not see them often together, which could impact the side.
