One of the players that will be on the radar for the BCCI is Yashasvi Jaiswal. He surely will be a backup for the Indian team for the World Cup as an opener in the team. The young batter has shown great skills in playing the new ball and there won’t be any surprise if he will be there in the standby list. Yashasvi Jaiswal took the IPL 2023 by storm. The Southpaw was one of the best batters in this year of the IPL as he smashed runs for fun and was one of the main reasons behind the success of the Rajasthan Royals. The southpaw has been one of the best batters for India in the ODIs but it’s quite uncertain that he will find a place in the team of the World Cup. But he was under observation of the BCCI and can be the backup for Rohit Sharma in the World Cup if he gets injured. Dhawan’s experience will be handy for the team. He has been one of the best batters for India in the ICC events.
